Thanks for stopping by NetworkShenanigans.com. I started this blog for several reasons:

  1. To document the interesting or unusual things that I encounter during my time as a network consultant/CCIE R&S student.
  2. To help others who may have encountered similar problems out in the wild, or help other students who may have difficulty understanding a certain concept.
  3. To connect with other engineers out there and glean from their knowledge as well
  4. To blow of some steam

Why “Network Shenanigans”?
Glad you asked! Shenanigans is defined as “tricky or questionable practices or conduct.” How many tricky or questionable practices do you encounter in your daily work or study in the network trenches? Another definition is “silly or high-spirited behavior.” I think we all need to be a little off to be in, and stay sane in this field.

Anyhow, thanks for taking some time out of your busy day to stop by Network Shenanigans. Hopefully you’ll find something useful or entertaining.
